Topic: DigiCheck misst andere Peaks als Logic

Dear RME Users,

I am concerned about the following phenomenon: DigiCheck NG 0.90 measures at output 1/2 of a Fireface UFX III (Firmware v.80, Treiber v.3.3.1) under Mac OS 13.6.1 on a Mac Pro 2019 a higher peak level than the DAW, Logic 10.8.1.
This discrepancy did not occur with a Fireface 800 on the same system. All measured values have been identical with the FF800 DigiCheck NG and the older driver.

Do you mean that? -0,7 in DAW and Fabfilter vs +1.5 in DIGICheck NG?

Exactly. The DAW measures -0,7 dB FS, DigiCheck measures +1,5 dB FS.

You have set DC to show Intersample Overs. Your DAW meters don't do that. Disable that option in DC and the levels will be identical again.

Thanks for the answers!

The solution has bin something different and a much simpler one - as often, the problem sat in front of the screen. I took a look at TotalMix this morning and saw, that my TC Bus was open and measured correctly.

Sorry - but this was my own fault.
