Topic: No Total Mix Window …….Mac OS 10.15 Catalina BF Pro

So for some reason Total Mix will not load a mixer page. If I click on “New Mixer Window” it brings up the “Function & Device Select Window” but there is nothing in the window to select?
It’s a pretty old system 2012 Mac Mini with 16 GB RAM, OS 10.15. RME Babyface Pro. It has been working with no problem. Fireface settings are loading. I do intend to upgrade to a newer 2018 Mac Mini with 64 GB RAM very soon…meanwhile…..

Sure the Babyface is not set to CC-mode by mistake ?
Press and hold the two buttons during power-up, SELECT and DIM.
The level meter LEDs will show a PC or CC (CC-mode)

Oh yes I have covered the CC compliant mode reboot. Still no Mixer window. About to reboot the whole setup this morning.

Then we should check the firmware and driver version.
Can you read out ?

So I have tried to update the firmware on the RME Babyface Pro. Again nothing happens. I download the update hit the US Flash software and the window comes up showing that my firmware is indeed way out of date. 125 when the current revision is 206! I click on ‘Update” …nothing happens….what is going on here…..bit frustrating when I am trying to finish up a track!!!

For the FUT a working driver is needed.
you have to install an older driver version 331
Then run the FUT and after success instal the latest driver 410

This is macOS 10.15, so he needss to install driver 3.223.
