Topic: UCX II sometimes goes silent after connecting gear

Hi,

Sometimes when I connect instruments to my UCX II Nuendo seems to lose connection to the interface. It's still selected as my audio driver and the routing looks right. But it is silent and don't receive any inputs. This happens both with the instrument inputs and the line inputs. If I restart the interface it works again. I move cables between synths and don't touch the interface when this happens. Nuendo seems aware of the "crash" since its meters don't show anything, like when there's no driver.

It doesn't happen every time but often enough.

Is this normal?

Can you provide a screenshot of Totalmix when this situation occurs? Does incoming signal still show up on the device display? Have you tried another USB cable or port?

Nothing on the meters in totalmix when it happens, ins and outs. Will try another port, it's daisy chained after my TB3 UAD-2 satellite as of now.
