My serial number is 73028486.
Is there any way to know my babyface pro fs chip is akm or ess?

The only way I know is to open the unit with a screwdriver, 4 screws are under the rubber feets.
I do NOT recommend to open it !

That serial has ESS for both ADC and DAC.

From the serial number we can see when it was manufactured.

Hello, could you tell what is the method of determining the date of manufacture based on the serial number and from what date the ESS chips were introduced?
The serial number of my BF Pro FS is 73023533.  I would be grateful for information about what chip (DAC and ADC) is implemented in my unit.
