Yes, I suggested a similar tool. A kind of RME Update Center software that is installed on a computer and periodically (approx. daily) checks the designated server for firmware, driver and application updates. If something is found newer than the current one, a notification is issued and an optional update button for the user.

Not another software please Way easier to have something server-side, like a thread on this forum dedicated to fw updates.

If someone wants to get an email if something happens regarding the firmware: subscribe the sticky firmware update thread. I don't like software that roams the World Wide Web on its own, and sometimes my firewall doesn't either.

Well, there is no bloatware on my WinPCs. I removed everything that came by default and was not used within the first week of launching these systems. Since then there have been no unwanted notifications or bloats in the task manager. But RME firmware/driver/application updates will be helpful. If no one wants a small notification app, email will work too.
