Hey i need your help please, its frustrating!
i just installed my new UFX II, but it doesnt work.
i had fireface 400 before so i had already totalmix on my computer ( Mac 13.0), now after installation Totalmix doesnt open, and the computer doesnt recognize the ufxII.
any ideas what should i do?
Install the right driver.

Does the Fireface (or Madiface ) Settings dialog open ?
Did you try to run the FUT ?
And sure the unit is not in CC-mode ?
The Class Compliant mode can be activated and deactivated directly at the unit, as long as it is
not connected to a Mac or PC: SETUP/REV, Options, Hardware/Diagnosis, Interface Mode, CC.

the unit is on Host mode. (if this is what you mean)
i dont have Hardware/Diagnosis inside SETUP/REV, Options.

I would try to ensure the unit has the latest firmware loaded.
May be the missing options in the menu will appear afterwards.
when i connect the unit the settings doesnt pop, but i can open them.
so i believe its not a driver problem? more setting in the device maybe?

When you open Totalmix manually, ist it empty, no mixer ?
Also check in MacOS system preferences / security & privacy / Microphone : Is Totalmix listed and enabled ? It should.
yes empty, like nothing is open- no available windows

Did you check whether the USB cable is fine, can you connect the UFX II to another computer or PC?
Did you connect directly to a USB port of the Mac or through a USB hub?
Try all USB ports and with and without a USB hub, maybe this makes a difference.
Do you have the correct driver installed?
