Good afternoon, friends! I ask for help connecting digiface dante to macbook pro 2019 i9. It only has four usb type c connectors. Which adapter will work correctly? Who uses which one? I use live professor and latensy are critical for me.Thank you.
A regular USB cable USB-B to USB-C

I seriously doubt this will help with the latency. If there were usb errors, then yes. But to little info to assist with the latency issue.

That is the right question! Sorry that this is not my expertise (mac) but I am sure someone will try to help. Are the audio settings the same? AFAIK you set latency there, buffer size.Or are you talking about another latency?

Depends on the MacOS. What OS is on the old macMini ?
Have you connected any Dante device with input channels ?
May be only two output channels was actively used in the system as it states 1ms output latency.
On an old mac mini, there is a High Sierra.On the new Ventura.The buffer size on both is 128 samples. The liveprofessor uses all 64 input and output channels.I'll take a photo and post it a little later
On the old Mac the driver is the 3223, right ?
On the new mac is the 410 driver ?
This would explain the difference in latency.

On the new mac I would try install the 331 driver. Follow the readme in the driver download.

You may reveal what exactly with Live professor was the problem ?
In the latest version of the program 2024.0.3, the latency was 4 ms for input and output. I installed the old version 2022.3 on both computers, the latency was 0.7 ms on both.Driver 410 driver returned to the new mac. I think something has been changed in the program, perhaps to add support for multicore? I did not find any information on this issue in the program support. Once again, thank you all very much!
