Topic: UCX II sound from turntables is way way lower then music from my DAW

The title says it all. I have tried everything and I can't figure it out. I have to turn my beats on my daw WAY down and my turntable mixer up to maximum for me to be able to hear my turntables. Also, my turntables only play if they are plugged into 5/6 at the back of the UCX, any other channels and I hear nothing

Any help would be hugely appreciated. I am new to this RME interface

Thanks

Are you using a phono preamp or did you try to connect directly?

Seems indeed like you're not using a phono pre-amp. Does your turntable have a line out maybe? Which turntable do you have exactly?

I'm using technics 1200s into a rane 70 mixer, then from the mixer to the RME

What input on the UCX do you use, and what reference level did you configure there?

Regarding the other issue, you have to configure the routing.
Every hardware output has an individual submix.
1. In submix mode select the hardware output, where you want to have the audio from the turntable.
2. Move the input fader to 0db.
3. Store the routing in a snapshot
4. Save your workspace (backup of everything, routing, window size and position, ...)

See manual.
