Topic: Fireface UC does not find host MBP

Hello,
the Fireface UC I just ordered does not work with my MBP. I switched cables, re-installed the drivers etc etc. Nothing helps. The Fireface USB Mixer and Fireface USB Settings are not starting automatically when I connect the Fireface UC to my MBP, and when I start them manually they close themselves.
I hooked the Fireface UC up to a windows 7 machine, this works perfect.

Any idea what the problem might be, how to get it solved?

Sounds like you forgot to change to Apple firmware, as explained in the manual (hint: double click the knob when the unit is on, but not connected via USB).

Did not know about this. Since the Fireface and Multiface always worked out of the box I never used the manual.....

The UC's package contains an extra paper which clearly and only talks about this setup issue. No need to search in the manual.
