I?ve bought a second hand 9632. Everything works fine except the midi functions. It seems no signal is sent to or from my computer, I have all In/OUT ports activated but I don?t get midi signal. I installed the latest firmware and driver but this makes no difference. When I connect my keyboard to a separate midi interface I do get midi signal so I think there?s something wrong with the card. The drivers are installed correctly and in the device manager it says everything works properly. When I check the 9632 properties I see Audio devices, Midi Devices and instruments and mixer devices. I checked ?use midi features on this device? as well.

Could there be a hardware related problem and is there a way to check this? Maybe the breakout cable is faulty but it?s remarkable that both Midi In and Out don?t seem to work.

Any idea to sort this out?
