Topic: issues with HDSPe PCI card and Multiface II

Hello,

Recently I bought by Thomann a Multiface II and a HDSPe PCI card. I installed the drivers downloaded on your site. My PC recognized the HDSPe PCI and it accepted the drivers but when I start my FUT, the process fails and it appears the message FAILED. When I do the same operation connecting my Multiface II to my HDSPe PCI card, I get the same issue, message saying "FAILED".

My HDSPe is a revision 1.3 with a Multiface II, connected with 12V external power supply and it doesn't match.
And Cubase doesn't recognize this sound card ! Can you help me please, it's very urgent !!!! Otherwise I must return the HDSPe PCI back to Thomann.

Which driver did you install? Did the settings dialog state it was necessary to update the firmware? What's the exact fut you used?

the drivers to install its those for Windows 7 that I found on your site HDSP_wdm_3085 it was used is that found at the same place fut_wdm_dspe

with the risk to appear idiotic, firmware = driver??

Driver and firmware are different things. Is the driver correctly installed?

yes it is the driver!!! (.inf files in the zip package)

Can you open the settings dialog? Does it look normal? Or does it say something about "firmware mismatch"?

i dont understand
i have not a rme power suplie but a standard 12v dc! that's a probleme???

y go back the soundcard to thomann this Monday if nothing is arranged
