Sure, you are right. But that's not really the point, is it? The channels should be mapped correctly, no matter if the 7.1 is "true" or not. And there is a small number of Blu-Rays, both BD-video and BD-audio in 7.1 available.

I think upmixing everything to 7.1 should do the trick, which should be possible with ffdshow audio processor. But I can't get this filter to load on flac audio.
It seems using different presets in totalmix is the only way to go atm. (At least in Win7x64, in XP it is possible to use WaveOut, where, strangely enough, all the cannels are routed correctly.)
Do you honestly believe this is going to happen? They have known about this for almost two years (at least), but they haven't even so much as confirmed the problem. How long would it take to even start fixing it?
