Sorry About My English.
When Swich On My Fireface The Light Of Host Goes Out.
The Computer Does Not Recognize The Fireface.
4 Years I Have Been Working With Her And Never Had Any Problem.
Is It Really Broken?
May Be Restart The Fireface Without Pc Unconnected?

i have the same problem ,my pc dont recognized my rme ,but he switch on and the light of host still ok still red..so

hey again ..still no recognized my rme.already i change the firewire ports change the firewire card ,desisntall rme and when i turn on my pc rme tur on too but still dont recognized ,i dont no what is the problem ,and already try thge updates and rme settings and mixer dont open too ...
please any help or just sell my rme and buy another one because its too much strange i have rme since 2 years and no problems and yesterday when i connect my pc ,this dont recognized ...my software its win xp ..

I have tried everything....
I have tried on three computers....
with two different cables.....
all drivers....
I sent an email to support and have had no reply....
rme hardware will be very good but the support .....
I asked them if they knew of any place to repair in Spain and I have not answered....
finally, I sent for repair to Barcelona ...
2011 is fucking....

Just for the record, said mail was sent today in the morning... :roll
I would suggest to send units in to Germany for the best possible repair service. Setem is not an official repair centre, to the best of my knowledge.

germany?can u give me the site or something because isnt appear in your support page some contact from germany...
It is best to send the unit in through the shop where you bought it. They will forward it to the factory through the distributor.

and they sent me to ( Setem ). And now tell me that is not trusted?

If Microfusa suggest to send the unit to Setem, fine.
