Topic: Multiface I ADA8000 Cubase 4 Problem
Hi there,
I work with my Multifaces without problems for years (Notebook and PC). Now I want to update my output channels with a Behringer ADA 8000.
I connected it via ADAT but I have some problems with it. First I guess the problem is the ADA 8000, but now I have a second one
and I have the same problems - so I think it is more a problem with the connection between Multiface and ADA 8000.
I worked with Cubase 4. If I send short signals to the ADA 8000 (like drums) not every signal comes to the output, just as there is a attack in the ADAT Channels.
The problem gets bigger if I use more ADAT outs.
Some more info about the connection:
I tried some variations:
Multiface a Sync Master, Ada a Sync-Master.
I tried different optical cable.
I tried two different ADA 8000 and (!) two different Multifaces on two computers (Notebook and PC)
he result was the same. So the problem is not the hardware.
So the question is:
I there anybody out there, who runs Cubase 4, a Multiface I and a Behringer ADA 8000.
It would be very nice to compare the settings (RME and Cubase).
