Topic: ff800 problem analog out 1 with 4db in less

My poblem FF800 has an analog output 1, if I send a test signal to the outputs 1 and 2 exit 1 has 4 db less.
I did all the tests on the cables and the signals are equal but TotalMix analog output channel 1 there are 4 db difference.
I think it's a hardware problem, what can you do?
There is out of calibration?

best regards
Peppe

If the channel is also low in TotalMix bottom row, then this is not a hardware issue. Try clicking the Preset 1 button to reset the Fireface Mixer.

Re: ff800 problem analog out 1 with 4db in less

TotalMix out on the channel 1 is equal to the channel 2 out, but the faders are the same hardware that receives them have 4 db difference, the signal is a signal to test the same on both channels. I tried to change the presets but there is always the problem.

???????

Do you mean you have to correct the fader position by 4 dB to achieve the same output level on both channels?

Re: ff800 problem analog out 1 with 4db in less

TotalMix ff800 on the faders out show me the same values ??but on the hardware that receives the signal (another FF800) signals have a difference of 4dB.
- I checked the cables are ok
- I've changed preset to reset the settings, should not be the same.
I guess it could be the jack out1 that has problems, if it was damaged and I should have unbalances the signal 6dB difference, right?
What can I do?

If it is a hardware issue, the unit may need repair... Is it still under warranty?

I'm having the same problem on ch 1,2,4. Where to go for a quick repair? Its running in a live setup; https://files.me.com/gerritschulting/abozwu I might need a replacement for the time in repair.
