Hi everyone,

I own a Fireface UFX, and I am very happy with it. I've used it for a couple of months now, and I must say that it is the most versatile, good-sounding, stable workhorse available.

However, I encountered a problem. I've always used the Firewire. Now I want to update the firmware via USB, but...

The UFX is not recognised by my computers & laptops. This is what I did:

* Connected the UFX to various PC's and laptops (all running either Windows 7 or XP, all the firewire-installations went fine).
* (Win 7) Looked in Device Manager for the new found hardware, but found nothing.
* Tried to uninstall the Firewire drivers, no succes.
* Tried different USB-slots, cables, etc. Still nothing.
* Even on the UFX itself the USB-LED doens't lit, only the firewire-LED (or nothing, when I unplug the Firewire-cable)

I've searched this forum for other people with the same issues, but I cannot find anyone that seems to have this problem.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
