Topic: Fireface 800 Inputs Q.

Hi guys.
Recently I started using Fireface 800 and a Yamaha O1V96 mixer on a mac 10.6 os. I read the manual and I figure it out how to wire but there is one thing I still has to get it right and I thought only you could help me out properly.

I want to figure it out the inputs. I used to have 13/14 channels as inputs now I got 11/12, which means SPDIF. I change SPDIF in to ADAT2, Clock Mode to AutoSync and the 11/12 channels in the total mix are off. How to set up RME properly? it est channels 13/14 as inputs that will be used in ableton, for mic etc.

In ableton I set up A1 5/ A1 6 as outputs, and presumably 13/14 as inputs, is this correct?

Thanks a lot in advance.

Re: Fireface 800 Inputs Q.

Which settings should be set up to get sound from channel 13/14 instead of 11/12 people? I'm a bit out of time until i figure it out myself, is this so hard to answer?
Thanks. Redon

Re: Fireface 800 Inputs Q.

There is no way to change input channel assignment. If you are using an SPDIF connection, it will be 11/12.
