Topic: Midi input not working on ufx! Can anyone help?

Hi,
have been triggering midi in pro tools 9 on imac through the fireface ufx for some time now. All of a sudden the firreface is not showing ANY midi activity lights when midi keyboard or electroioc drumkit is played?

Just did all updates - nothings changed. Tested midi inputs through midistudio - no activity!

It does not seem to be pro tools problem  - Please can anyone HELP!

You tried both inputs of the UFX?

i have a similar problem.

i can't get any midi in to the ufx.

- midi out works great
- i checked both cables
- i tried both midi inputs on ffufx.
- im sending from td-20 (i know it is set correctly and are sending midi to ffufx)
- it has worked before
- the led is on solid yellow,(on the midi in STATE led in front) isn't it supposed to only light/bling upon receiving midi data?
- i have installed lion

(i should also mention that this happened  after my mbp 2009 been in for a logic board replacement)

could it be a lion problem?

i have a novation sl, on usb midi and it is working fine.

i use
os x 10.7.1 - Logic 9.1.5

The only way to check it is to connect the UFX to a different machine...

Couple more thoughts:

The solid yellow LED sounds like it's receiving a constant stream of Midi clock messages. 
   OR
It could be a MIDI feedback loop - if you have MIDI thru set to "on" on the TD-20. 

Other thoughts:
Can you try the Novation SL hardware midi output to the back of the FFUFX instead of USB? 
Also, try another modi monitor app, such as MIDI Monitor: http://www.snoize.com/MIDIMonitor/
