I have a Hammerfall (blue PCB - NOT REV 1.5) and also wish to install W52 - provided it's the right EPROM for me to utilize my expansion board for 24-in/24-out - as it stands now it is 16-in/16-out aka. 9632

PCI DIGI series of course
9636? And what is the purpose of your post?
as it stands now, I have RME Hammerfall DIGI-9636 with expansion card (8-in/8-out ADAT/TosLink + BNC WordClock) making it a 9652 minus the W52 EPROM - correct me if I'm wrong??
In order for me to make FULL use of ALL 24 physical ins/outs - I would need to swap the W36 EPROM with W52 - correct?
Is there anything else I should be aware of?
Where did you get the expansion board? There are two, not compatible versions.
The expansion board came with the Hammerfall DIGI9636 - purchased second hand.
What makes them not-compatible ??
how do I determine that? I do not see any REV numbers on the PCB of the Hammerfall Card.
How do I know what version it is - and how do I know what version the expansion card is and whether it's compatible?
It is written on the PCBs. The expansion is 1.0 or 1.1.
Please mind that the EPROMS are no longer available, to the best of my knowledge. If the two boards are compatible, you should contact the seller of the expansion, to see if he's got the W52 (which he won't need without the expansion).
