I think Logic don't support standard multichannel wav files. But you can play them in Logic to different playback devices and record them as new file in the UFX.

I 'am not sure I understand. You can select one multichannel file for playback. Every channel can be assigned to an output channel. Channel 1 to channel 10, 2 to 8 ...

I export 5.1 mixes to multichannel wave files from Sonar... so there's another one for the list.
