Topic: AES 32 Total Mix Mixer- Cubase Direct Monitoring Question/Problem

Hello,

I am using Cubase 6 on a Windows 7 PC.

I enabled Direct Monitoring in Cubase and created 8 mono tracks and armed them in monitor mode. I enabled  "Asio Direct Monitoring" in my RME HDSP  Mixer and pulled the Cubase faders up to see if the corresponding RME faders  behaved accordingly. Faders 2-8 corresponded with Cubase all the way up to 6.0. However, Fader 1 stopped at -11.1.

Could someone explain why fader 1 didn't respond like faders 2-8?

Thanks for your help.

You set up a fader group in TM that prevents the fader from moving higher.

Thanks for your reply Mathias. I didn't intentionally do that, but I'll check the manual for fader group set ups and find out how to undo the fader set up that is preventing the fader from moving higher.

Thanks again.

It's too new for the manual, but it is obvious (Grp1 shown in your screenshot) and easy to use via the menu.
