Topic: Fireface 800 + Windows 7 driver issues
I recently picked up a Fireface 800 and I have run into some major issues with the driver on the PC side.
I have a Gateway I7 desktop running windows 7 64bit with 8GB ram and a Lacie Ti firewire card.
I keep getting the yellow triangle in the device manager. When I click fireface 800 in the device manager, I keep getting:
"Windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device. A recent hardware or software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or that might be malicious software from an unknown source. (Code 52)"
I've done multiple installs of the firewire driver (legacy and Ti) with the Lacie card.
I've even installed the original VIA Firewire card and did multiple driver revisions and they all work fine with other audio interfaces but not the Fireface. (fyi, I know how to completely uninstall drivers and software)
There is nothing wrong with the fireface 800 hardware itself. I installed it on my macbook pro and it runs great.
I really need this to work on my pc because it's my mix machine.
Thanks,
Paul
