is there anyway that when i mute a mic in a certain mix, it mutes it only for that particular mix, and not for all mixes? solo works fine for individual mixes but mute seems to affect all the routings of the input. (fireface ufx)

Use a mute group.

using mute groups i'm still limited to 4 groups, and i'm using 10 stereo mixes at the same time. its also not very convenient when setting up the performers' mixes, is there any technical aspect that prevent adding an option to use mute individually for mixes?

Our whole internal design, sorry. You might be able to work around this limitation with some tricks like Solo or using the Mic channel's fader itself with Undo...
