So, my main Multiface (i have two), just emitted a strange noise while working. The noise did not come through the channel output, but was in the speakers, even when i turned down the output of my mixer. Switching the mixer off did not help either. The noise a screeching tone which only disappeared when i turned down the computer. This also affected my screen which had horizontal beams across it. The computer worked fine though. Afterwards i could not get any sound out of this multiface, even though the tone disappeared after a reboot. I tried on another PCIe card, no luck. My second MF II works fine on either PCIe card. Any ideas?
