Topic: RME HDSPe AIO help

I just upgraded to this card, I was using an Echo Layla 3G, which by the way worked on every system I had without any install problems. It was just outdated and would sometimes lock up on my windows 7 machine.

I Installed the card, downloaded and installed the latest drivers. I am running Sonar X1E, 64 bit, windows 7.

The card is recognized, but when I try to open a project or simply add a VST to a single audio track it locks up, freezes the computer, loses audio completely.

I have no idea what to do, I changed PCIe slots and at least started getting sound, but it all went downhill again pretty quickly. I tried ASIO, WDM nothing still the same.

Re: RME HDSPe AIO help

I sent an email to support as well, any idea on how long it takes to get a response?

Re: RME HDSPe AIO help

Have you updated the card's firmware with the Flash Update Tool as well?

Make sure Win 7 is set to use the "High Performance" power profile.

I tried last evening to update the flash and it froze my computer, had to hard restart it twice.

I will change that setting tonight and try again, thank you!

Re: RME HDSPe AIO help

I put the card in an older computer, was able to install the new firmware. I put the card back into my studio computer and all is well! Thanks, that did it!
