Topic: Help Required: Pro Tools UFX I/O Setup

Hi there,

I have a UFX II which all works exactly as i want it to with Ableton. Incredible piece of kit. However I've decided to take all my mixing over to Pro Tools and for some reason i just cant get Pro Tools to read the inputs from the UFX. I purchased Pro Tools 3 days ago and I'm running it on Windows.


After a little fiddling I've managed to send some audio out of the UFX to my hardware but inputs are a no go. When i go to select an input on a track the 'interface' option is greyed out.

After hours of troubleshooting i just can't seem to figure it out.

I should mention Pro Tools is somewhat new to me. Does anyone happen to have any advice on setting a UFX II up with Pro tools? Anyone who can help will be showered in gratitude.

Was Ableton running ? May you have to deselect UFX in Ableton prior to be able to select it in PT ?

All works totally fine in Ableton, In fact I'm using it now as we speak.

Oh i misread your post.

No i wasnt using ableton at the same time.
