In Studio One settings I would choose System Audio instead of Babyface.
The Babyface is already the Interface in the System Audio in the Audio Preferences of MacOS.
just a try
waedi, I tried - then the sound output to the phones is not displayed, only the main output

Guess why. Because the built in audio hardware on the Mac only has one stereo output channel. And this of course is assigned to the Studio One main out.
Finally got Studio One Demo installed and working.
Routing to output channels works flawlessly, no problem.
The DAW is a bit clumsy but is working.
M1 Ventura
I selected the RME as audio device, all outputs available.
Nice, Waedi. my tryout version had expired some weeks ago…
I already discovered some differences between your and Denis-II's settings.
And of course there are 'SUB' outputs, not 'bus' - my bad, sorry!
Why have here both tracks the same output ?
Post number 6 already shown this mistake !
Without being able to read it, it looks like both track sending to main out.
Make one to sub1 !

You probably found it!
What is that in the box just above the marked one with the output? In your project it’s labelled 'keiner' (so 'none')?
Thats the input channel.
It's none because there was no recording, I dropped two MP3s into the arrange area for creating two tracks.
Only the output addressing was important.
waedi,oli77sch - Thanks a lot! You really helped me! I chose SUB on the track, in the mixer, miracle happened - the routing started working!!! Turns out it's so easy! It turned out - it's so easy!)) I did it the way you have in the picture and now everything works like it should! Respect!!!

+1
And I’m happy to see Studio One working fine on macOS, also combined with RME interfaces.

This is part of my work, I am a patriot of Ukraine! Russian invaders want to appropriate my native land! We will not allow them - we are a strong nation, we have motivation - we are fighting for our land! Ukraine will win!!! I believe in it!!! This is a small part of my work. May the God of the peaceful sky bless you! God forbid you will not have such neighbors as the Russian Federation, God forbid!
The music is well mixed, some photos seems to be oversaturated in colors.
I am Swiss patriot, our invaders run away from our folksmusic.
Best wishes to your people, hopefully the war disappears soon !
Slava Ukraine !
Glory to heroes!
