Also FYI, working on Release Day 14.0 Sonoma is my FF800*
PCI ---> Ti-Chip based Firewire PCI card required ( + you must adjust a Security Utility setting offline on your Mac in a safe boot mode.)

Happy FF800'ing on our Apple Silicon everybody.
Upgrade from Ventura to Sonoma is fine.
download size 7.7 GB, installation duration aprox. 45min
All programs working fine, Digiface USB perfect.
No issue.
iMac M1 and FF 800 connected via adaptor chain here. This was running without problems from the beginning and still is with Sonoma 14.0. Hooray!

Yeah!!!!!
Thanks for your report!
... and still running with Sonoma 14.3!
Sonoma 14.4 anybody?
I was informed by Universal Audio that their plugins won't work and one should wait with this update. The reason is some incompatibilty with their licensing software as far as I understand.

So no update to 14.4 for me at the moment.

I wonder, that ua (and all the others), which implement iLok based copy protection point to Apples 14.4 sonoma update.
Fact: The 14.4 beta is available since 2 months for developers.
The manufacturers who blindly trust ilok are simply too embarrassing to admit that they themselves or their copy protection partner „iLok“ failed to test it in time.
This example says a lot about the view of some manufacturers who force their customers to be online, to buy any dongles: Maximizing profit is above customer service…
According to PACE/iLok this might affect M2 and M3 Macs only: https://help.ilok.com/faq_licenses.html … _4_plugins
But I won't try with my M1 iMac in the moment anyway.
i was wondering, too. Unclear statement from PACE/iLok:
...when running on M2 or M3 hardware under the ARM architecture.
14.4.1 is already here. Problems should be solved: https://support.apple.com/en-us/109035
I can report that the Fireface 800 is still running with Sonoma 14.4.1 on my iMac M1 without problems as ever. No driver reinstallation or whatever.
(And no problems with the Universal Audio plugins in Logic, too)
Great!
Thanks for this news!
Has anyone tried Sonoma 14.5 yet?
I don't tried yet. I have a job in progress and I can't stop now.
Has anyone tried Sonoma 14.5 yet?
Yes, all fine.
Okay then. Here, too.
Still no problems with Sonoma 14.6.
And no problems with Sonoma 14.6.1
